Where do you live & what is the best hunting supply/store in your area?

I live in Bangor, Maine. We have Dicks Sporting Goods (which is over priced) and 4 Trading Posts within a 20 mile radius.

Well im look for a new gun, boot, and clothes
Im looking for a gun that is under $200 (.20 or .12 gauge)
Ill mainly use it for Deer hunting
So ill need boots and clothes that will keep me warm but will also be reasonably cheap

Good Boots and clothes are usually the ones with thousands of grams of Thinsulate. A really good deer gun you will probably have to get used. One great gun is the Remington 1100. At the gun site, there are cheap auctions. This is where my family gets most of our guns.

From sporting goods wholesalers. My store it more hunting than fishing, and I'm sure there's tons of fishing companies I don't know about, but from my experience, here's some of the best wholesalers. Acusport(acusport.com), Bill Hicks Co(billhicksco.com), Big Rock Sports(bigrocksports.com), SportsSouth(internetguncatalog), RSR(rsrgroup.com), Williams Shooter's Supply(?), Zander's(gzanders.com), Jerry's(jerryssportscenter.com), Ron Shirk(?), Davidson's(galleryofguns.com), to name a few. To deal with them you need to send them copies of your licences and often pictures of your store and if you want lines of credit you have to fill out credit aps. For clothing you mostly have to buy direct, and to get an idea of clothing compainies go to the Shot Show in Feb. Hope this saves you some time.

depends how much you want to get out of it most pawn shops will take it off your hands but they wont give you much for it 1/4 of its fair value or try the yellow pages for sports shops or archery equipment dealers
